WHO WE ARE LIST OF SERVICES |
| 1. Congregate Meals – served Monday–Friday at noon at the Senior Center with weekend and evening meals offered as available. The meal assures a minimum of one-third of the R.D.A. A donation of $3.50 is suggested for those 60 years and older or their spouses. | |
| 2. Home Delivered Meals – the same meal as served in the group setting is delivered to those who are homebound. Frozen meals are available for weekends and holidays. | |
| 3. Transportation – bus runs Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 p.m. transporting the elderly to the center for lunch and activities for a suggested donation of $1.00. The bus is also available for doctor appointments, shopping, post office, hair appointments, etc. for a suggested donation of $2.50. A handicap equipped bus with wheelchair lift is also available upon request. | |
| 4. Community Based In Home Services – Seniors age 60 & up, Handicapped/Homebound age 18-59 A sliding scale is used to determine the fee. a. Personal Care – assists clients with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, etc. b. Housekeeping – provides help for house cleaning, laundry, shopping, errands, and meal preparation. c. Respite Care – Offers the main care giver a break. |

| 5. Family Care Giver Program a. Training in basic care giver skills b. Respite care c. Care giver support groups |

| 6. Education & Training – providing opportunities for individuals to acquire knowledge, experience or skills. Includes individual and group events designed to increase awareness in such areas as nutrition, crime prevention, accident prevention and preventive health. Personal enrichment opportunities are also promoted. | |
| 7. Information and Referral – includes the provision of information, application assistance and referrals to other available services. | |
| 8. Treatment – care provided by licensed health professionals at foot clinics, vision and hearing screening, flu clinics, blood pressure checks, etc. | |
| 9. Loan Closet – provides crutches, wheel chairs, shower stools, commodes, etc to those in need. | |
| 10. Recreation – activities such as special evening dinners, tai chi, yoga, exercise classes, line dancing, bingo, cards, music, dances, trips, art classes, etc. | |
